Project Overview

Eden Commercial Flooring installed the floor tiling for this Hype DC tenancy at Fountain Gate in Melbourne's south-east. Large-format, light grey terrazzo-look tiles were laid in a continuous grid with tight, fine joints so the floor reads as one surface right across the shop floor, run continuous under the checkout joinery, the central display gondolas and the customer seating bench. At the lease line the tiling meets the mall concourse in a curved perimeter threshold strip, keeping the transition flush and following the rounded storefront opening. The same tile continues through the fitting and seating area, so the whole tenancy sits on one floor finish.
